Why is it only football that has to call off games?? Other sports are going ahead tomorrow. Why is it that only football suffers??

Coming over for the Watford game. I dont imagine it will go ahead now 😕

Whats going on at Liverpool? Hammered in the CL last night and really poor in the league. Klopps last season I feel

My first impressions were he looks like a really nice fella and maybe too nice. Maybe too intellectual for the British player mentality and my fears were before he started that he didnt know the rough and tumble of the madhouse that is The Championship.
IMO he needs some older tough seasoned pros who will play hardball and once promoted you can dispense with them and go with more of a flair type continental player. To me its men against boys right now.

Patrik Andersson scored in the semi final of the Coca Cola Cup at Hillsborough. In the 1st game Paul Warhurst destroyed us.

Aye, if we we going to get knocked out in the group stage anyway, at least let it be a glamorous group.
I remember thinking the likes of Barca, Bayern Munich, AC Milan would be playing at Ewood and then the draw comes out and it the Z listers of the Champions League. I remember over in Ireland they werent even going to bother showing the games as the group was so underwhelming. They were going to show Rangers instead. In thr end they showed the first 2 games but when we lost both they showed Rangers instead. From memory the last game with Mike Newells hat trick wasn't on tv here due to loss of interest.

I hated that kit. If it had the normal crest on it it wouldnt have been too bad.
LeSaux was thought of as an oddball as he read The Guardian and wasn't your typical cockney lout. I imagine David Batty wouldnt be glued to University Challenge.

The Championship has to be the most unpredictable league in the world. Predicting it is difficult!

Memories? An absolutely disastrous campaign bar the final game. Who was at the games? Would we have done better under King Kenny?

Whatever happened to Graham Fenton?

Is the atmosphere crap in the Riverside?
-
He needs to get Vinny Jones and John Fashanu in the middle of the park and just hack down the opposition.
'Ave it!

Robbie Slater I felt was a good player. Surprised they sold him for that dud Matty Holmes. Possibly the worst signing in football history.

Riverside - Rows 12-14…as close to seat 100 as you can get.
The equivalent seat in the JW Stand is Jack’s box…
Whats it like atmosphere wise?

The team is too young possibly. Need a couple of experienced hard men in there. Where is Ayala these days?

Buckley signs new long-term deal! | rovers.co.uk
Great news. Shows how much he's rated at the club. Broughton's wise words about Buckley' potential to become a Premier League footballer are spot on. Buckley has certainly got the ability. Obviously no everyone agrees, but there are none so blind as those who will not see. 😉
There are none so blind as them that what won't listen

He broke his leg. He was never forgotten and always got a good reception from us when he came back as Fulham manager.
Don't remember that. But lets be honest he was a very underwhelming signing in the same league as Matty Holmes.

Chris Coleman. Another dud signed in the 1995/96 season. Cant even picture him playing any game.
He was like the Sha-a-dow.
He comes and he goes and no-one knows

I've almost always been JW, just prefer the views.
But I took the little lad over to the Walkersteel (it'll always be Walkersteel to me) for the Stoke game and we had a surprisingly good view of the pitch.
First time I've sat in there for a long time.
Never sat in the 'Walkersteel'. Thinking of going there for the Watford game.

Good to see BBD staying at least for another 4 months. Cant see him staying beyond that.

Great performance. Very solid and always looked in total control. Unfortunately the team tends to mess up in the next games after a good performance. Hopefully not this time. Very pleased.
