Excuse my ignorance of this has already been covered but does anyone know if this is being broadcast anywhere? Thanks

Has anyone watched the class of 92?
Gary Neville commented that we had stumped up money upfront for Brandon Thomas Asante in the summer.
In hindsight it would have been good if we had continued to pursue that when WBA has supposidly got him for 300k.
I watched that and commented in another thread about it. He’s scored 5 in 16 for WBA I think or had a week or so ago

Unable to make today as away with the MRS. First home game missed since August. Let’s have it today. Guaranteed win seeing as I’m not there 🤣
Cmon the Rovers 🔵⚪️

Just watching Class of 92 about Salford. We were in for Brandon Thomas Asante in summer. Never knew that, he went to West Brom and has scored 5 in 16. Could have done with someone like him. Athletic striker
went to WBA for 300k. Could have spent on him instead of wasting money on Hurst loan or maybe even Szmodics if we spent 1m+ for him

While we are talking about Lenihan, thought it was pretty poor a few around me in lower jack walker were booing him when he got on the ball last night. He was at Rovers a long time and did very well for us. He had a chance to move for more money and probs his last chance for a decent money move on his career. We were in no man’s land with manager etc. cannot blame him one bit.
Footballers are humans just like any of us and sometimes you make decisions based on what’s right for yourself. If he left on bad terms and downed tools last season then I’d understand it but he gave his all the whole time he wore a blue and white shirt.
If this was you last night then you’re pathetic-

I am sure Josh can defend himself on this, but I’m certain he hasn’t made it up. Expanding on it and maybe quoting the source (if that doesn’t compromise someone) will no doubt clear this up.
We are being robbed of seeing an exciting talent, who is one of our own, at the minute, so it needs sorting and fast.
I was at the Forest game sat lower Jack Walker and when Wharton was subbed he didn’t look happy/didn’t exactly embrace JDT warmly like we saw pre Burnley game. Nor does he seem as happy when you see him walking up, looks like he’s got a bit of a face on him so I wouldn’t be surprised if some or all of what’s been said is true.

Do you think it's a coincidence that when he's nowhere near the squad we are top and playing well, he's back and we are shit.? Not a coincidence for me.
I think my nob end friend schooled our entire midfield a couple of weeks ago....you must have been asleep
Garrett hasn't shagged the missus either.
We haven’t been playing well and that’s why he’s got a chance back in the squad?
Works both ways, we’ve done well at times with him as well as poor. Just don’t understand your pure hatred for him, has to be more than the player he is because he isn’t that bad.
yeah well done he had one decent game against us, I was there and watching.

Hardly. He started well, obviously punted the ball up for the goal. Apart from that a lot of side passes and not much guile or bollocks to drive forward.
And don't get me started on Garrett, struggles with the basics for me....if it ain't a 50/50 he's lost.
Has Buckley shagged your wife or something? Incredible how much you slate him. He played some decent diagonals in the first half, you always find a negative. He’s better than your nob end friend anyway

I watched this one from home tonight, my 5 yr old in the 1st half said “this ref is actually doing ok tonight Dad”
2nd half after the sending off he said “I take back what I said before Dad this guy is like the rest of them, he doesn’t know what he is doing” He is 5!
As I’ve mentioned I watched it on TV but were there boos when Dack was taken off?
Frustrating night again!
Yep. Boos when Dack was taken off

I think A.Wharton warming our bench and not making that squad is criminal. Best talent we’ve got coming through, understand whatever went on with the Burnley game (which if true I 100% agree with Wharton) but we have to do what’s right for the club and right now he should be getting minutes, no excuse whatsoever for him not playing

I think you’ve got the wrong end of the stick. I’m not calling you out, whatever that is supposed to mean, and I never mentioned anything about if he saw it or not.
I’m purely suggesting if he’s not a PNE fan he maybe is a Man Utd fan. I thought that’s what he told me when I was talking to him. Maybe I’m wrong but hey, that’s life.Apologies. I thought you were calling me a shit fan 😂 jumped the gun there and sorry for that.
Im sure he’s not a PNE fan, knew him in school and my best friend was teaching at school with him just a couple years ago and is still pals with him. Just a shame he always had a dicey game against us-

Robbed by the ref tonight for nothing incident. Its time refs used common bloody sense. Anyway I'm not going focus on the waste off space refs tonight.
I was very happy with our performance in the game. First half we played very well with quick tempo passing and not slowing the passing down. Morton and Buckley were very good. The movement of the front 4 were excellent and we scored an excellent goal by Hedges. Gallagher should have scored aswell.
Disappointed by the first goal we conceded. Poor by Kaminski. Second one was good finish.
We continued to try to play our football and played to the end. Just couldn't find the killer ball to get equaliser today.
Very proud of every player tonight. JRC was outstanding and in good form.
JDT got the subs of Dack and Morton right as they couldn't get hold of the ball or make tackles and they were shattered. Bringing on Garrett and Travis was right cos they give us energy and ability to make tackles. Dack isn't a centre midfielder either.
Let's stick together and go and beat Cardiff on New Year day now. COYB!!! 🔵⚪️
Sorry but bringing on Travis and Garrett was not the right call. We wanted an equaliser, instead we put two defensive mods on to defend a 2-1 loss and not let it get worse.
Much rather we put someone like Markanday on and maybe Adam Wharton who are forward minded players and creative and go for it and lose 3-1 than sit back and accept 2–1.
I have really been on the fence about JDT for a long while but those subs were negative and poor. Same as subs against Sunderland, changes the game and not in our favour-

A Manure fan
Manure fan? The ref didn’t see it and it was the fourth official that gave it. I saw it live and I’ve seen it back since I got home. Going to have to call me out for something better than that. What I said is fact

The referee went to Carr Hill school, lives in Freckleton. Rumours of him being a Nobber. His brother played for B'pool.
Bit too close geographically for comfort really.
He’s not a Preston fan I can tell you that. He did go to Carr Hill, end of the day the fourth official made the call. He didn’t see it.

That is were our use of Markanday has to be called into question. He does not have the qualities needed to play the position, the Rovers have asked him to play. I will say again - The only thing I have seen from Markanday is a good shot when he has drifted into a central position. I have never seen him show any ability to beat a defender, what are the skills that you mention ?
In fairness I’ve been to a few cup games and seen him take defenders on. He’s pretty lively and I wouldn’t mind seeing him get a bit of game time

Buckley got his fifth yellow on Boxing Day. Has we passed the point where it resets yet or will he be suspended tomorrow?

Last decent performance I remember seeing was Watford at home. I watch most games and I can’t say I’ve seen a performance like that since

You seen any of the matches or results recently? We are third for now, but the season finishes in May…
Second at Christmas last year and we all knew it was a false position. Same again here. Not good enough, look how compact the league is, if we have our usual February slump we’ll be out the top half. Hope it doesn’t happen but look at our form last 4 games. Been woeful. Norwich was a good result yea but we were shit really.

We are a tough watch , I’m not seeing a marked improvement from mowbray. We are getting sneaky wins that aren’t entirely merited, defeats are merited, not creating enough, relying on luck, a piece of magic and resolute defending to win matches. I just don’t see where we are going with this
Must be said we’ve been very lucky winning games with a moment of brilliance or piece of luck. Problem is that won’t happen every game and when that runs out we aren’t creating anywhere near enough chances to compete. That’s why we win games and lose games and nothing in between. When it goes for us we win but when we lose we have no answer because we create fuck all. That’s why we can’t come back when we go 1 down because we can’t create enough chances to score a goal or two.
That’s where our biggest problem is. Not shifting the ball fast enough, not getting the ball in the box with crosses. Just don’t understand when forward players make runs we turn back and slow it down yet when there isn’t a run made we aimlessly hit it over the top.
I’m really not a fan of Hirst at all but in fairness to him it must be so hard to come on and run around like a headless chicken because our service up to our forward is woeful, got to be one of the worst in the league.
Our midfield is awful currently, no transition between defence and stokers sadly. We were second to EVERY single second ball yesterday and they just waltzed past us with ease. It was embarrassing and I’m sorry but JDT isn’t the man. The subs killed the game completely as we were growing into it.
‘The definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome’Something needs to change, this is no improvement at all on last year. And for the ‘We are third brigade’ we were second at Christmas last year so calm down.

Saw that stat that our expected goals was 0.40. Constantly we are producing such a low number in that stat.
We look woeful going forward, every time there’s a run made forward we turn back and slow play down. Then we eventually force a ball over the top which gets intercepted.
Absolutely shite style of football we are playing and it needs to change.-

You honestly think Venkys will pot him now, no chance.
Certainly on thin ice with the fans. Wouldn’t be surprised to start hearing boos at Ewood. Already happened against PNE

Thoughts:
We have been shocking today and in fairness deserve fuck all.
JRC has had another good gameDack only one creating atuff so obviously first to be hooked
Morton has been poor and we are shit in midfield
Hirst need getting rid of in Jan
JDT certainly on thin ice

Why take Philips off, Wharton is a nightmare
If your last man you just can’t do that I’m afraid
I heard Hedges shouting at the bench for some electrolyte gel for Philips. Philips came over for that and a bottle of something shortly after so I’m guessing maybe he was low on energy? Came off about 5 mins later

Was always gonna be a tough ask tonight, lots of games in a short space coming up so like others said, can’t be annoyed at the team he put out. Imagine if Diaz or Dack started and got injured, you’d all be slating him.
S.Wharton is in a poor run of form yes but I don’t understand why everyone is being so harsh, homegrown lad who was unreal last year. Form has dipped yes and everyone’s getting on his back. Get behind ffs!
