Amazing how times change,I can remember a time not so long ago when just to have a crowd of 12,000 on Ewood was considered 'special' and now we complain we only have 12k season ticket holders! In a moment of quiet contemplation it just made me chuckle thinking back to the dark days of the early to middle eighties when our famous old club was literally on its kness and could barely afford to pay the milkman,the riverside stand fund etc;how well we have done to have come so far in such a relatively short space of time!.I personally NEVER EVER want to see us go back to that again and like others have said ''you never know what you've had untill its gone''........... KEEP THE BLUE FLAG FLYING HIGH!!

But now Souey has offloaded Cole so as usual in the eyes of most* Cole was never any good anyway. *Tris being an honourable exception. Its just so sad that a player who I believe still wanted to play for the club and was still more than capable of producing the good's has literally been forced to walk away because the stubborn manager had no plans to play him this season...looks like the Brum game was his last game in Souness's eyes. I'm purely looking at the financial loss,(WORTH 7 MILLION TO NOWT IN 2.5 YEARS??)yes Cole's goal's kept us in the Prem but I would have realistically thought we would have been looking at recouping at least 1.5 - 2 million for him as he's still clearly a quality player....how much did Boro pay for Viduka Its my personal opinion that Fulham have got Cole on the cheap that bothers me, an Andy Cole who is STILL capable of coming up with the goods at the highest level....we have just merely concluded a lose lose deal here and nothing else. As for the Grabbi deal, the less said the better......JHC!
