  1. Well, this is not what I expected. Perhaps I should have, after all it's TM's usual too-little-too-late approach most likely. Where has this been?? Just playing like this in one other game in the last 10 or so would have had us well in contention still. Nice to get one over on this lot though if we maintain it, but I hope it's not the difference between him keeping or losing his job (unless it's because we reach the promised land, which is still super unlikely).
  2. You could apply the same argument to his tactics, selections, formation etc. Of course nobody cares how they're doing it when a manager is winning. It means that despite any flaws we may perceive, they are getting the job done right overall for the time being and it would be churlish to argue with the methods (and usually gets you shouted down). When things are going badly, all criticisms are worth considering as a partial explanation as to why.
  3. Mowbray's management is disgusting, so that works out well then.
  4. Finally got my friend who works at AFC Fylde to get me some feedback on how Pike is doing. Dan Pike: solid defender but seemed nervous when playing and unsure on what to do on the ball when going forward and never had a stand out game but never really had a poor game at the same time That's from one of the academy players at Fylde.
  5. Nothing wrong with changing your mind. Those hypotheticals we talked about became reality eh? I don't personally think we would achieve much from putting Johnson in charge, but it still might work for the honeymoon bounce, but depends who else is available in the market right now. Ideally I'd rather have a permanent appointment, a proven operator, ready to get started with the crucial summer rebuild.
  6. Do you still want to wait until the end of the season, or do you want him gone now?
  7. He'd have made himself richer with promotion too though. I'd be absolutely amazed if a promotion bonus isn't in his contract.
  8. No disrespect to either of those, but they've both shared rumours that have proven false in the past. I see his shitty attitude, but none of this means it's set in stone he is leaving. Maybe he will, maybe he won't, but talking like it's a certainty is daft. If he did tell the players he is leaving before our promotion chances are dead, he wants sacking on the spot. Although, he should be anyway.
  9. I've got no idea why you and others seem to think it's so nailed on he is leaving. He has survived plenty of times before. All that matters is if he still wants the job and if he is still liked in Pune, and we don't know either of these things.
  10. Without this run, we quite possibly wouldn't have been losing the out of contract players.
  11. And as I said, players constantly raise their arms when moving, so it isn't an unnatural position, it's a natural one. One of the few decisions the ref got right (I count the ludicrous booking that I think it was Maja got as one of the poor ones). Take your 3 points, move on.
  12. First time Hedges has done anything on the pitch for us.
  13. Watch players' arms when they move on the pitch. When they have the ball, when they don't. Arms constantly go up, it's part of balancing the body. Zero intent, zero penalty.
  14. Nope. Blasted at him point blank. Just be happy with your 3 points, don't get greedy 😉
  15. Anyone who tries to tell me we are punching above our weight, I'm just going to say 'Luton'. Much like last season I said 'Barnsley'. Clubs that would kill for our resources.
  16. Travis needs to stop thinking he can hit it like Tugay.
  17. I'll get the ambulance ready for when that limb snaps. Playing well today though. Shame there isn't any point anymore.
  18. Blackpool, with nothing to play for, spanking Brum 4-0 already. Think we all know what will happen when we play Brum though...
  19. I can only assume the reporter is Bradley Johnson, who surely is exploring other career options at this point.
  20. Aye I meant ever as in these days of course, once upon a time he was class at this level. Legs are no excuse for the suicide pass he played earlier though.
  21. Johnson is terrible. He just shouldn't ever be on the pitch.
