Al, KP is off to play in the Caribbean version of the IPL. so much for him to wanting to win his place in the England team why doesn't KP play a full season of County first class cricket for Surrey and score loads of runs and prove to Strauss/Bayliss that he was to part of this England team. instead he's off to the Caribbean. says it all IMO.

New Zealand deserve to win. Played much better cricket during this test. Strauss and Cook are not leaders or winners? Look at Strauss and Cook record as captain. Won alot of series. I also suggest you read what former players have said about Strauss as captain. Alot said he was very good captain and managed them well. Abbey, I expected us to match the Aussies but we do have some problems to sort out. We need front line spinner in the team. My suggestion is Rashid from Yorkshire. I would Ali from the team. Broad, Ballance, Bell form is a concern but none are in the One day squad. So hopefully they can play some county cricket and get some form. I think Trevor Bayliss will have good impact on England. I also see he got the type of Squad he wanted. He wanted a younger squad with good fielders in the squad.

Strauss knows the game very well and would have interviewed ppl and spoken to ppl within the game. Bayliss's CV is very impressive plus what Shane Warne as said aswell. Notice you haven't even said anything about new coach yet

Cook's innings has been very good and the captain has lead from the front. Stokes's innings was great. Played some wonderful shots during his innings.

I think Gillespie will get that like the Daily Mail is saying. Plus Gillespie is happy to work with Farbrace as his number 2. Gillespie(or Head Coach) should pick the squad with scouts/co selectors helping him. I think its the best way. plus he knows the County game and players from it. so that's it massive plus for me. my first choice would Gary Kirsten but he not interested in the job. did a great job as head coach of India and South Africa. so I will trust Strauss and Harrison to pick the right coach. if that's Gillespie then I will back him.

Why does it even matter what Cook called Strauss. Couldnt care less. KP shouldn't have played again for England again after texting the South Africa players about the current England Captain during a test match. Totally unacceptable that IMO. But like Ian Botham said today, the KP saga is getting boring now. Lets focus on the England Team and the cricket being played

Who says KP would have done owt today? Might got a Duck or a good score. Who knows? But he wasn't playing today. Isn't he Injured atm? KP shouldn't have been anywhere near the England team after what he did to Strauss in 2012. I listened to what to Alec Stewart said at Lunch for BBC Radio 4 LW when he said KP has been excellent since joining Surrey BUT ALSO said that other ppl in the County Cricket game who have a complete different view of KP. Isn't KP going to IPL very shortly to for his team? I think after this current Surrey game. If he is then he didn't get out of playing in the IPL just delay playing in the competition I wouldnt say KP is the best English cricketer. Actually I would say Jimmy Anderson is. Been one of the best English bowler and top English Wicket taker.

Campaign about Robbo? No it wasn't. It was my opinion about the keeper situation and nothing else. Who says it is just one player that has had problems or arguments with KP? What happens if it is 4 or 5 players? I don't see KP playing for England. I would rather give chances to players like Hales, Lyth, James Taylor. Also pleased that Joe Root will be vice captain of the England test side

Exactly Gav. All this has to been taken into account when selecting a player. Are you going to trust KP if you are a team mate of his after all the things he has done. IMO very unlikely
