  1. in your opinion of course Abbey. but it wasn't my opinion and hasn't been mine 14 months ago
  2. Strauss has said that KP is isn't his plans for England this summer. Strauss has said that there is 'massive trust issue' with KP. also says that Cook has his full support and will be test captain for the summer but Joe Root will be vice captain for the test matches while Morgan will continue as ODI and 20/twenty captain. Strauss will talk to potential candidates about the Head coach role. Gillespie will be talk to about the role. Abbey and Al, tbh I wouldn't have let KP back into the England team after he was guilty of texting the Opposition team about Strauss who was his captain. I see that Piers Morgan is already out there fighting KP corner. lets not forget that this is the same KP who has been kick out of the team twice by England. Steve Waugh has said he wouldn't pick KP again if he was in charge of the England Team. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/cricket/steve-waugh-tells-england-to-move-on-from-kevin-pietersen-because-hes-not-a-great-player-right-now-10188631.html
  3. Abbey, Strauss has ruled out any Recalled for KP according to BBC Sport/Jonathon Agnew. Time to move on. KP has been kick out of the team twice, plus text gate and this book. Far too baggage to be consider for the England team
  4. Andrew Strauss and Tom Harrison had a meeting with KP tonight BBC Test match special tweet from 5 mins ago We understand that Kevin Pietersen has been told this evening that he won't be picked to play for England again http://t.co/cnsnsZSUSU
  5. lets see what the new England Director of Cricket Andrew Strauss says about the KP issue tomorrow at his 1st press conference since starting that role. I would be very surprised if KP returns for the test team under Strauss's leadership.
  6. KP time is done for me. Hasn't performed in County Cricket this season I expected England top 5 to be Cook, Lyth, Ballance, Bell and Root. Plus Hales is performing in County Cricket
  7. Pleased by the Strauss appointment. disappointed by the Moores sacking and the way it was managed by the ECB with leaks in the press. total shambles. Who will get the next England coach? I don't Gillespie or Langer will take it. I think Paul Farbrace will get it permanent. I expect Joe Root to be named the ODI Captain.
  8. Surely it will depends who the new Director of England cricket is? Strauss is the favourite. He is a big fan of Cook and Moores.
  9. Hopefully he will progress into the 1st team next season
  10. Bowyer has said in the LT that Gestede has been working with Lee Mansell and passing on tips to him.
  11. It was an accident. Nothing more. Mike Atherton is a Manchester Utd fan. He is very well respected person in cricket. Should be involved in the running of the English game
  12. Rittenberg on the right, Green/Mansell centre and Mahoney on the left. it was 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation
  13. Don't see that at all yesterday. We played 4-3-3 yesterday. The first team play 4-4-2 formation.
  14. Went game. Miss 3 hours of the 1st day. But still kept up to date with the game via Sky Sports app on phone and what Cricket writers and Jornos were saying on Twitter. Modern technology for you. Haha. Plus listened to Radio 4 LW coverage on way and back from Ewood Park. How more questions Abbey about it???
  15. Raya, Nyambe and Mahoney. Plus I think I think Mansell could aswell if he develop over the next 12 months. Possibly Lavelle
  16. Bell is a very good batsman. England have batting very well in the last 2 sessions. 1st session was awful..
  17. the game ended nil nil. Raya was the busiest of the keeper with making 2 or 3 good saves in the second half. Green played up front with Mahoney(wide left) and Rittenberg(wide right) in 4-3-3/4-5-1 formation. Green went off after 35 minutes with a hamstring injury. and was replaced with Lee Mansell. Was very impressed with his ability to hold the ball and his strength plus his work rate. Mahoney had 3 or 4 good runs at the Southampton's right back Mugabi. In my opinion, we didn't get the ball enough to him during the game. Mahoney has the ability but needs more influence on the game. was also impressed with Thomson(centre midfield), Nyambe(right back) and Lavelle(centre back). enjoyed the game and they was some Southampton fans who attended the game aswell
  18. Rovers starting line up for this game is Raya, Nyambe, Doyle, Thomson, Lavelle, Jones, Green, Bauress, Rittenberg, Carson ©, Mahoney. Subs: Daly, Crump, Tanner, Mansell, Joel. Southampton:- Gazzaniga, Mugabi, Targett, Gape, McCarthy, Wood, Gallagher, Reed, Seager, Hesketh, McQueen. Subs: Sims, Britt, Sinclair, Slattery, Debayo. Looking to the game and watching it live at Ewood Park Players I looking forward to watching are Mahoney, Green, Nyambe, Thomson and Rittenberg. only 1 player I'm looking to watch for Southampton and that is Sam Gallagher. He is someone I mention about us signing him on loan next season
  19. Yep Test Match starts at 3pm tomorrow on Sky Sports 2
  20. Test match starts tomorrow. Sky Coverage starts 2.30pm
  21. Vaughan hasn't been given the job but did have talks with the ECB CEO on Friday. I think both Vaughan and Strauss will be commenting for BBC Radio and Sky sports on the test series against West Indians
  22. who do people think will become the new director of England cricket team? supposedly 3 names in the frame. names are Alec Stewart, Andrew Strauss and Michael Vaughan.
