  1. Blackburn Rovers linked with Forest midfielder Ben Osborn http://the72.co.uk/103663/stoke-blackburn-chasing-forest-midfielder/
  2. I'm keen on 2 different formations being used during a season. I am still keen on us using 3-5-2 deffo. suggest out of contract players does it? I heard both were free transfers with adds on if we got promotion and they played a part in us achieving promotion He played 43 games last season for Bristol City. haven't Man Utd offered Henderson a new contract? I deffo wouldn't be concerned at all if Mowbray see 3-5-2/3-4-3 as the future. I would be happy with Lenihan, Mulgrew and Williams as 3 centre backs with Bell as left wing back and we need a right wing back to make this work along with Armstrong up front with Graham with Dack in the 10 role with Bennett and Smallwood in centre midfield. Lenihan has it proved championship as a centre half?
  3. 4-4-2? We mostly played 4-2-3-1 all season. If Mowbray switch to 3-5-2 formation I wouldnt have a problem as we have the players to suit us. Probably need right wing back and Armstrong to make this work. Isnt Antonsson on 6k week? Naive??? Haha. Or just believe in Mowbray totally. Big fan of his management, the way he talks to fans, open and honest communication and want the best for this club. Wouldnt say Samuel was a miss either. He scored goals that won us games. I probably say undecided. The other 5 miss you put in 4 were free and Harper was a loan.
  4. Judging on few games ive seen him. Ive not been impressed. Ive seen their 4 live games on sky in past month plus 2 games against us. Not someone I would be looking at..
  5. I wouldnt sign Byrne if I was in control.
  6. Is there anything to suggest Mowbray is interest in Nsiala?
  7. I wouldn't sign Burne at all. massive attitude problems and thinks he better than he is. another Nick Powell. I would be massive disappointed if we signed him. from media reports and Tom's post on here about us signing Davenport from City it looks like he is the one centre midfield we need.
  8. I believe Mowbray will bring in quality players regarding of how much he got to spend. He knows his stuff and I back him 100% to do the right thing Bargain bin? how we even shop in that bin under Mowbray. Mowbray sounds from his interviews that he is very happy with the budget and happy to work within that. He already met some players and agents. not impressed by him yesterday and doesn't strike me as a Mowbray type of player.
  9. It doesnt matter how much we spend as long they are quality signings. I trust Mowbray to make the right signings
  10. Not for me. Doubt we sign Nolan aswell if we sign Davenport permanently. Who knows Tyrone. Mowbray on holiday this week I believe. So dont expect any signings in the next 10 days. He already said he spoken to some agents and players. I dont expect Wolves type spending but sensible spending and signings. Players who fit into the squad both talent wise, money wise and attitude wise.
  11. Just Nolan thanks. Can play the deep midfield playmaker next to Smallwood.
  12. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/uk-sport-news/championship-gossip-blackburn-rovers-leeds-1613480 Blackburn Rovers and Leeds United interested in Dons midfielder Relegated MK Dons look set to lose midfielder Ousseynou Cisse. The Sun on Sunday reports both Championship side Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers, who were promoted from League One this season, are interested in the Malian powerhouse. The 6ft 5in midfielder is an athletic, combative midfielder who played 36 times for Milton Keynes Dons last season.
  13. From Rich Sharpe Seen Frankie Fielding’s name linked with #Rovers this morning. TM has spoken about adding more experienced competition to David Raya so could be one to keep an eye on.
  14. Malan and Stoneman need dropping. Not good enough.. Cook, Bairstow and Root got good balls so fair enough. Abbas has been really good and impressive.
  15. Huth was an awful example to use them. If you mention someone like Mark Beevers or Mark Wilson who are both out of contract this summer. Then fair enough but you mention someone who has been injured and not played a single league game. all season we have linked to Blackpool centre back Clark Robertson. Played in 38 league games last season and currently going to be out of contract in a month but I don't know how good he is. on the Back 4 you mention I would be ok with them. we also got Downing and Wharton aswell. I would look for a centre back around 21 to 25 with pace which we haven't got in the squad. or would you prefer to play Wharton and save the cash for other positions like 2 wingers plus buying Armstrong if it a possible.
  16. Starting for England under 21's today in Toulan tournement. Live on freesports channel
  17. Waggott on Rovers https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/may/steve-waggott-qa-part-two/
  18. But someone like Conway on the wing would be good away from home where he will be solid, defensively good and stay in his position. Experience in defence? We got Mulgrew and Williams are very experience. Lenihan is 24 years old and played in more than 100 games now. Players like Huth are far too old and too injury prone for me. Dont forget he hasnt played a league game all season or barely been on the bench either.
  19. I fear for test and 4 day cricket future. I dont understand why Buttler can be picked for test cricket when he hasnt played 4 day cricket all season. When players like Joe Clarke, Liam Livingstone and Nick Gubbins have perform this county season and hasnt been picked.
  20. I wouldnt miss t20 cricket at all. Like watching it but much prefer watching 5 days of cricket. Dont see t20 going anywhere tho. I think England problems are down to more than t20 but its a factor..another factor is the quality of county cricket and players
  21. Waggott on Rovers budget http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16251610.Rovers_budget_will_allow_for__quality_and_depth__to_be_added/ Quote from the article above "We’ll have a competitive player budget and have a transfer pot of money as well,” said Waggott. “You never disclose what you’ve got because agents pick up on it. “We have to be smart with what we’ve got but we should be able to add depth and quality to the squad.”
  22. Do we prefer test cricket or one day cricket or twenty20 cricket? Myself I prefer Test Cricket. always have.
  23. I trust Mowbray to make the good signings and give us a team to be proud of. Agreed 1000%
  24. Different situation and position. Antonsson started well but done nothing in the last few months since he injured.. Southend at home, Bradford away and Peterborough away.
