  1. No surprise after last week rumours. Doubt he will get much money to spend. Will be free transfers and using the youth team
  2. Wasnt the case last summer tho was it? Expected an interview with LT and Sky Sports by Tuesday
  3. Contracts talks well underway http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16236003.Contract_talks_well_underway__admits_Rovers_boss_Mowbray/
  4. no thanks. Mowbray has already the age region he wants to make signings in
  5. Maybe I should have put I would be very happy with us finishing in mid table this coming seasons. for me, it all depends on who we sign and the quality of those players. if we challenge for top 6 or even get playoffs I would be overjoy. I think the championship is very hard league to get back to back promotion nowadays but Millwall and Sheff Wed challenge for top 6 and both were close. show us the way to go. I think Sacko pace and tricky is what we need. deffo someone who could improve under Mowbray and coaching staff. I don't know how much Hobbs has played this past season so cant comment if he would be a good signing But the managers all recruited new players within their budget and spend money in January. But all of those clubs work with a wage budget and not spending daft amount of money on wages.
  6. finishing mid table next season is what we should be aiming for. that's my view. I don't believe we can get promotion next season with the likely budget Mowbray will get. who is Maggot?
  7. this website has suggestion we go for Jack Hobbs who Forest has just released and Leeds winger Sacko https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/this-defender-would-be-a-bargain-for-blackburn/ https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/can-this-24-year-olds-spark-be-reignited-under-tony-mowbray/
  8. completely agree there Biz. I don't see the need for a right back. when we might not have a massive budget so other areas are more important like 2 wide player and another striker. I also want to get Travis a path way into the 1st team squad in some games n=yes. I want a Plan A and B I would use Nyambe as I think he is more than good enough as mid table championship side right back Ward is out of contract and Rovers have announce that we are releasing him. did you not see this? what is your obsession with Nyambe and its being beyond the joke and its become very personal. what is your issue and I think you don't lkike his agent so you are against the player. Keep Samuel for me. a player there
  9. other people quoting you so I see your dig post at me,
  10. Dig all you want Jack. But my post back up by Mowbray playing Bemnett in 5 different position during the season
  11. Jennings played a really good inning Also feel Lancashire are 1 maybe 2 batsman short. Why Hameed or Lamb didnt play instead of Parry I dont know.
  12. Lingard has been excellent. Dier good also good season. I cant disagree with your last point. Our centre backs cant compare to those 4 players.
  13. Who is McKenna? Ive watched a couple of SPL and its a boring league and very poor standard. Why you keep mention SPL players I dont know. I doubt we will sign any of them.
  14. cos I don't believe players like DIer, Rose, Stones and Rashford are out of form. Stones played excellent last time out for England, Dier has been regular for Spurs, Rashford hasn't been playing due to Mourinho and why you wouldn't play him and Lukaku together I don't know. But Mourinho has picked Lukaku instead in his 1 up front system
  15. Didn't I say I would picked Wilshere instead of Cahill? I have praised Southgate for his selection cos most that squad I would have took. I like Lewis Cook as player and would have maybe prefer him to Wilshere. We have had different types of managers and they don't nowt since Venables and Hoddle days. I like that Southagte has decide to change tactics and play different. the 3 at the back suits our current players. I agree he has got it right with the keepers, plus your point on Sterling and Maguire. I haven't discuss the stand by list
  16. Delph has played in 29 games. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fabian-delph/leistungsdaten/spieler/50362 Dier has been played regular for Spurs. Wouldnt be playing if out of form for a top 3 team. Stones not playing to due the form of 2 other players. Lost his place due to injury.
  17. Which players are these then? Kane, one of the best striker in the world. Plus Vardy up front with him aswell. 50 PL goals strike force there. Walker and Sterling outstanding seasons for their club. A manager picking players on form and leaving players out who are injury prone or out of form like Wilshere and Hart. Cos What ive said is true. Like his reply was another insulting comment Stuart.
  18. Please admins can we have negative England huskometer for these fans? Thanks in advance
  19. What a load of rubbish. The squad is good and roughly what I would have picked. (21/22 out of 23)
  20. no need for the unnecessary insult at me. Now can we get back to discussing transfer targets and links to players through the media
  21. disagree again, I would back Mowbray long term and keep him here. He will know by now what his budget is. probably had his meeting with the owners and will be on his way back tomorrow. expect an interview with BBC Radio Lancs and Sky Sports on Friday. Very pleased we are being linked with Edwards from Peterborough. would be good signing here.
  22. Lancashire team for the one day comp today ennings Davies Livingstone Vilas Croft Clark Bailey Mennie Parkinson Parry Lilley.
  23. Rovers linked with Peterborough winger Edwards https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/peterborough-united-fend-interest-bristol-1577614
