sentimental on what grounds? big risk? every signing or every managerial appointment is a risk so why bother making them then? Every manager made bad signings even the great Sir Alex Ferguson or Bobby Robson made bad signings. I wouldn't say Samuel has been bad signings as he has scored 5 goals and had positive impact on the season. He hasn't been a regular in the starting line up since Christmas due to the form of Dack and Graham. in other news I don't think Payne is signing permanently here after his latest tweet.

Season Tickets 2018/19

I understood your point perfectly fine. They are never going to close Blackburn end so your point is mooted. Ive mainly sat in the Blackburn End anyway but never the Darwen end -
Season Tickets 2018/19
chaddyrovers replied to blueboy3333's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yes you are right it doesn't affect me as my season ticket is in the Blackburn End. I always said that the Darwen end should be just for away fans unless we sold out the other 3 stands. You have lie again with your second line of your comments. I can ask why you like sitting in the Darwen end? seem strange to me but hey ho -
and you don't know if Chapman will be like that either so stop with such tenuous comments. You just got to trust Mowbray, scouts at the club and the medical department to sign the right players I agree there AJW

Season Tickets 2018/19
chaddyrovers replied to blueboy3333's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
very pleased that we announced the season tickets prices finally. will be down next Thursday to sort my season ticket out. I can understand why the club has decided to use the darwen end just for away fans. sensible move and fill the other stands in the ground and if enough people renewal we might open the BBE Upper end to home fans. I'm hoping we can get 15 k plus fans who get season tickets for next season -
thats why you get to trust you fitness/sport science staff and phsyio staff that why players do full medical these days. I think Chapman would be good signing for us. Lets just calm down and see if a deal is done first and what then terms are. cant see Mowbray agreeing to that clause in the deal so lets see what happens 1st. my friend knows people at Brockhall and I have no reason to doubt the info or source

A Friend of mine has txt me this afternoon..has good contacts at Rovers Mowbray met with Pulis regarding Chapman earlier this week, Pulis unsure at what level Harry can play at and is happy for another year at Rovers, snag is that Middlesbrough want an immediate return to them if he looks the part, Rovers won’t agree to that. If Chapman is at Ewood tommorow he is a Rovers player for the next 12 months. Just to make it clear that the recall clause is the key to all this happening.

@Rovers are to sign Dylan McGeouch on pre-contract from @HibsOfficial ✍️ The attacking midfielder was their Player of the Year! - This is a rumour, nothing solid behind it! What’s your thoughts on the player? [Source: @HFCTransferNews ] https://t.co/1F9yR5JXy7

Read the link at 5.30 this morning and disagree with it.. Conway isnt a winger who would be starting games regular tho but a player who could be used as an impact player off the bench(mainly) as to protect a lead and use a defensive winger. Plus his knowledge and experience of the Championship would be crucial and very useful to the squad. And I would keep Samuel aswell. Yes please. His wages are massive and beyond our wage structure.
-
Agreed No thanks. Had a good 6 months then follow 2 years of playing poorly Very harsh.. Would give us experience and knowledge of the championship in the squad. He would be good squad player and wouldnt complain if not in the team.

We have 2 left backs at the club already.. Expect Armstrong to be loan unless we could get cheap with sell on clause insert like 50% of any future sale goes to them. Like we did when we sign Bentley from Arsenal
-
has as poyet played recently? would he be good enough for us? we have already got our x factor signing in Dack. Maybe look at Oztumer or Payne has back up.m I would be expecting Armstrong to be 1 of these loan player. 3 players not good enough no thanks. when was the last time he had a club? Didn't Warnock say after not getting the job that he agree that one or 2 players would be sold to dealt with the finances issue? but he would get to spend couple of millions tho? I think Mowbray going to India is a very good thing and I would expect him to get a decent budget. something like 5 or 6 millions pounds plus wages for 6 or 7 new players. I wouldn't be expecting 20 million pounds budget as I don't see that happening. I would be expecting 4/5 permanent signings and 2 loans signings

I would take McNair from Sunderland. But I would like to sign Jon Nolan from Shrewsbury. Marriott would cost 8 million. Was linked with Palace in January for 8 million. I think we be looking at 6/7 players to sign. A centre back, centre midfielder, 2 wingers, Armstrong and Target man type. Possible Payne or another number 10 player.. But I'm going to sit back and enjoy the Summer whilst seeing who we sign and link to. No to Adam and Ireland. Due to wages. I agree on Marriott. Toney is a possible option.. Isnt Carey 30 years old and not quick?

Ive back Bowyer at 28/1 -
I agree with Pedro and his post. I remember his days at Swindon. Talent player then
-
I agree we need 6 or 7. We need a centre back, centre mid, 1 or 2 wingers(if we sign Chapman), Armstrong back, target man, if we sign Payne. I would keep Evans, Samuel and Gladwin(unless we get Payne)

off that list I would be moving for Kenny Jackett. Knows this league and promotion on his cv from this league. it will be very interesting to see what kind of structure the owners put in place, the next manager and transfer budget wise I read this morning that Hurst will be Ipswich number 1 target this summer to replace McCarthy.
