  1. Phillips looking decent. Lack of width/pace or anything out wide. Front 3/4 all getting in each others way Dack's been bloody awful.
  2. Back to our real market of league one players. Brittain probably worth a punt. The only decent player Peterborough had, left for Bournemouth in Jan. *Still beat us though 🤦🏻‍♂️
  3. So to summarise today. Nothing remotely incoming but we've managed to balls up the contract situation of our hottest youth prospect and Nyambe may join Wigan. Standard fare.
  4. But we have no right back. Nyambe leaving before a replacement is just piss poor management.
  5. Re-open negotiations with Nyambe: failed Re-open negotiations with Diaz: no chance. Recruit A list centre back:failed Recruit B list centre back: failed. Hire somebody else who can take the flak for failed recruitment: Almost there. Just another transfer window at BRFC.
  6. We do it every year...so it looks like we are competitive...then sign league one players because that's our real market.
  7. I don't have a problem with the likes of Wharton/Garrett. Being utilised around the first team. They are untried and deserve a season. Keeping players (who are been consistently poor in a position) such as JRC and Pickering is just self defeating though. Hopefully you are right. Given there have been no links to any full backs/wing backs - it is a little concerning.
  8. Pickering is shite. On paper a decent punt from lower league but his lack of pace is ridiculous.
  9. You can't lose 5 first team players and not replace them with equal players or obviously you go backwards.
  10. Not even a sniff of a rumour, never mind a signing. Something is definitely 'off' with this whole business.
  11. Just to recap then. No permanent links and one unlikely loan option from liverpool....now two weeks since we started 'making progress' in the transfer market. The ONLY thing that would make this not the shambles it appears - Is if Brereton is about to be sold. Waiting for that sale and then being able to pursue better players, would make sense at this juncture. Not convinced that's the case though.
  12. I believe we have a decent budget for signings. Possibly several million. I don't believe that our wage structure or whatever you want to call it - is sufficient to entice anybody decent. That's the problem.
  13. Doesn't seem a signing to get the pulses racing but he's experienced and had 20 caps. May be he's the equivalent of Mowbray's Bennett - in the dressing room. Hopefully not the pitch.
  14. Bellamy was a lot of trouble by all accounts. Would have had him in any rovers side all day long.
  15. He's just turned 21. Bags of time to add a bit of composure to his game. I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
  16. So despite the much vaunted business this week talk. It looks like no business this week. Quelle surprise.
  17. You seem to associate negative/positive comments on a message board as some kind of life choice. I'm as content/happy and chilled out with my life as can be. Having an often 'negative' outlook on a message board, in no way effects any of my other life choices or enjoyment. I don't log out then, stew for hours... It's simply an opinion, made in a moment of time - on the circumstance of Blackburn Rovers - and one that rarely leads to any disappointment under this regime😂.
