  1. It is becoming a little bit of a watershed for Rovers. A lot in the 40s-50s-60s are walking away from the club having seen it built up and knocked down. However there's a growing number of younger fans - my mates lad is 15 and he and a lot of his mates now go. They are happy to get behind the current situation- as they've not known any different- Just as I was in the 80s. Hopefully, at some point, thet get to see some success.
  2. The backing is the important part. Whomever we bring in will need a decent budget and transfer kitty. No chance of progress otherwise.
  3. Millwall were 19 points behind us at one stage. They will finish above us.
  4. I think we can all agree that the way this has been handled is appalling. It is certainly not reflective of our 135 year tradition. I say 135 years as the last 12 are as far apart from the traditional values of BRFC than you could possibly imagine. Within this period, this latest farce is simply par for the course. Mowbray has now alluded to big budget cuts, behind the scenes being poor, staff leaving etc. That is why nobody expects things to suddenly improve from this summer. They haven't over the last 5 years... The aimless journey is set to continue.
  5. Yes. Sometimes you just have to toll the dice. They did and it's paid off. We sat on our hands like we have for the last 12 years.
  6. For all the talk of our academy. Player of the season- Brighton Goal of the season- Brighton
  7. I can't think of one pressure game that a Mowbray side has actually won. We even bottled a 2-0 HT lead against Wigan in league 1. Clear off.
  8. What's telling is that every team that needed a win this weekend is winning or has won. Except one.
  9. To be fair to Sheffield, that was a great second half performance in a pressure game for them. Compare that to the piss poor capitulations we displayed as soon as the pressure was raised. Tells you all you need to know.
  10. Finally ditched the 3 at the back. Finally went back to three recognised 'forward' players. Finally started pressing from the front again (like early season). Finally played Buckley deeper. Finally started scoring again. Coincidence?
  11. Won 2-1. Happy days. Great season turn around from the young lads.
  12. Really 😲 I've attended since '81 as a kid and don't remember that! It's the only thing that has been well organised and thought out is what I'm alluding to.
  13. I don't know who was involved organising the Ewood express thing but that is the only initiative that the club has done that's been impressive. Everything else from the ground to the squad, to season ticket sales is decaying year on year. As of today, there is no sign whatsoever that this club is going on an upward trajectory whatsover (in my humble opinion if course).
  14. £299 Riverside and BBE £349 JW Fixed price no in increases. Clarification of management situation/ambition for next season before release of tickets.
