  1. It was ridiculous not signing a striker. Back to Tony tinkering away now with his square pegs.
  2. Not a dig but I thought you expected a couple if incomings regardless of whether Rothwell stayed?
  3. Time isn't a commodity we have though. We can't put any stock in Dack this season. Could easily break down and bound to pull something when he does start after such a long time out. Gallagher: extent of injury unkown but if it's a recurrence of his punctured lung, it could be a while. Khadra -Hammy? Could resolve itself. May go again and be long term. Dolan: 3 weeks. Welcome bench player but not been setting the world alight. Hedges - may be fine. Know nothing about him. Any kind of injury to Buckley/Diaz and we are totally screwed. And we let 2 fit bench players leave on loan. I know you're a positive guy and I'm glass half empty. But that's a crap situation for a team that needs points now to stay in the top 6.
  4. Surely we've come out of today weaker? Three attacking players out - McBride, Chapman, Butterworth out. Two of whom were on the bench last weekend. Possibly one wing back in - plus Hedges. We have a massive injury crisis at the top end of the pitch and we let squad players go..
  5. Not for falling out with anyone but no, I don't get your point. I'm failing to see what criticising attendances etc has to do with us operating competently and maximising the unforseen position we are in.
  6. You appear to be on somewhat of a high horse. What has contributing to Swansea's coffers got to do with anything? I'm guessing this mystery striker has failed to materialise and it's the fans' fault?
  7. Same every window. We'll get a couple of 'we put an offer in for so and so (at a fraction of their price) but they wanted too much' etc tales around 11pm. We had a chance to go for it this year. Those whose contracts are coming near to an end must be thinking there's a lack of ambition.
  8. Did you expect us to be second in the league? Did you expect us to sign a striker in summer once Armstrong left?
  9. Yes but it's another underwhelming window following summer. Can't help but feel it's a lack of ambition. We won't get this opportunity again. On the striker front, it's obvious Diaz will go in summer. Recruiting now strengthens us now and long term.
  10. Shaping up to be a very poor window again. The old excuses will be getting churned out shortly.
  11. It shouldn't. Where is the Armstrong replacement? 2 windows now. Also we were told that incomings not related to Rothwell sale.
  12. Surely it would have been lined up already with the player already in the country? I smell a shit show today. I really hope I'm wrong.
  13. Expectations today: *The striker we were promised in summer. *1 midfielder or 2 if Rothwell's gone. *Lb cover. Striker and midfielder should be permanent. Over to you Tony. "We're not daft," he won't be sold unless we have replacements in."
  14. Mine too Problem is, history suggests that most 'money' deals are agreed before deadline day, then finalised on it. As such usually they break the day/eve before - like Rothwell/Dembele to Bournemouth. Absolutely nobody of any worth been linked to us so far suggests another piss poor day tomorrow. Hopefully I'm wrong 🤞
  15. We've been here before. Except never whilst second in the league. Striker/midfielder/wing back cover - on top of Hedges is the bare minimum. If we really have these things in place, they will break tonight/early morning. No news by then and we're screwed.
  16. No to Curtis Obi Mikel - doesn't fit the profile of a 23/4 year old championship talent. No idea about Giles.
  17. I'm at the point where I'm now not arsed about Rothwell. He can just F off. I am concerned that we were told yesterday - by Mowbray that they could get 2 talented 23/4 yr old champ players in on long contracts - with that money. So do I believe we'd sell him to Bournemouth? Undoubtedly. Do I think we'll get these 2 players in by tomorrow? Not remotely convinced.
  18. Then we should be making it clear that Bournemouth need to be paying £5mil plus.
  19. Why would we accept £3m from Bournemouth when we rejected £4.5 from the yanks🤷🏻‍♂️
