They have quality up front at this level with Austin and Gray. If we had those we'd be a danger. -

Last night highlighted the facts. *We have a strong 1st 11 when fit. Little outside that. We knew that after the summer window. *We have/had found a system that kept clean sheets. *Mowbray likes to tinker and history says he can't adapt formations mid game to any effect. The only way this Season pans out well is using the system that gave us the clean sheets. History tells us we pick up few wins over the next 3 months. We need to grind out as many clean sheets as we can in that period and see where it leaves us. History also shows we usually finish with the season with a few wins. Last night was a bad result. Ref aside. Performances haven't been great since the PNE game. A loss was coming. Better to lose to a club at the bottom than a rival like Boro. The Boro game is now massive though . A win, without our main goalscorer, will boost confidence massively. I said a few weeks back that this Boro side under Wilder look the dark horses to go up. Let's hope we find some way if doing them. -

Mowbray never has a plan B. He won't change it to any effect. -

Well. It was a definite pen. That aside, what a fucking abysmal half. Edun, JRC look conference standard and that's being kind. Gallagher. Not even Sunday league. What kind of professional puts in a half like that? -

Jrc needs subbing now. And don't anyone question Travis's importance to this team. -

January Transfer window 2022

Not sure we need another young CB 'for the future' unless it's a top quality one in on the cheap. Personally would have kept Carter around plus we may put the young lad Ash Williams on the bench now and then. Jus think we have more reasonable cover at CB, than any other area really. Any further signing should be in summer. If we do get up somehow, recruitment will be a different ball game and higher quality. -

To be fair, all strikers usually hit a barren spell. This may well be his. If he only scores 5 between now and the end of the season, it's still been a great season from the lad. As long as he keeps working hard for the team. Up to others to step up now. Gallagher really needs to start justifying his contract. -

He normally comes back from Chile with his Diaz powers for a while. He's been in England too long! -
Had to go out for a walk after the red. Couldn't watch. May have to do it more often๐ That is a massive win. It convinces me that we genuinely could be in with a shout (at the very least of the play offs). Promotion is all about clan sheets. Something we haven't been able to buy the last 3 years. We really haven't played well the last couple of games...yet this season we don't concede. It makes such a difference. Hopefully, this is a poor spell and we pick up the performances again in the next game or 2. The Bournemouth result is the icing on the cake Enjoy the weekend rovers fans ๐บ

Anything like ยฃ30 mil plus and Diaz should be sold providing a third is reinvested. He reminds me a bit of Kalinic. He may develop more as he gets older and have 2 or 3 really good seasons throughout his career at a high level but that will be mixed with some pretty mediocre ones. There is a fair chance this is one of his 3 ๐. Rhodes. Just no. As for Dacky. He's no slower/faster than Buckley - so could play that role. For me though he needs to spend the balance of the season coming off the bench. Gradually build his confidence back whilst offering a proven goal threat. Something we don't have much of on the bench.
