43% possession and a a set piece goal, surely Mowbray must be livid with that performance? -

Think TM would benefit from the advice given here. https://youtu.be/Bwk38srACrA -

Club have a massive rebuilding job to do post covid - both on and off the pitch. It's as clear as day that none of the present incumbents are remotely capable of achieving it. -

Yes it certainly set the alarm bells ringing. -

Yup. Many of us pointed out it was the season to 'ride the wave' but the club just paddled up to the wave, then paddled back to the safety of shore. -

Was reading an article about Granada's manager (Diego Martinez). He took them from Segunda division, to 7th in Primera league. They play Manure in the UEFA quarter final tonight. The article is on the BBC sport website. This quote is caught my eye. It's what TM doesn't get. This is the type of managerial outlook we need. "I have always believed every team should be like a made-to-measure suit," explains Martinez. "Yes, I have my ideas and I can prepare the team in different ways, but the most important thing is the players you have at your disposal and to work out what we need to do to get the most out of what we have available." -

Haven't most announcements of this nature been around 5pm? -

Never paid too much attention to the LT comments but by God, what sanctimonious drivel 'Beetlejuice' and 'Reg' spout. -

Love to see who gives him a vote of confidence: "Having held a crisis meeting last night, following the shock of a 2 goal defeat. We (my mate the CEO and I) have concluded that it's best for the continuity of this once great football club, that I continue in the role. The owners were quick to express their full support for me when I last spoke to them (May 2019). It is essential we rediscover our previous form and return to 1 goal defeats at the earliest opportunity. I assure you that my coaches (the one who sleeps on the bench next to me and the pretend goalkeeper) will work night and day to achieve this whilst developing 17 year old (until recently) talent, Harvey Elliott for Liverpool. Yours in integrity, Tony Mowbray. -

Hopefully Mrs Mowbray has put the proceeds of her recent lemon drizzle cake sales on it as well! -

Sometimes having one of your own works, maybe this is one of those times. Someone who gets what Blackburn is about. -

The whole club is probably in worse place now than when Kean was here. He alienated half the fan base and they stayed away. The same thing is in danger of happening again but probably down to a core of around 5k, like the mid 80s. I see where you are coming from and I don't think TM would have survived this long if fans were in the ground. I think he knows he's lost the fans now. -

Have to say. If TM remains, then boycotting the first team and following the under 23s in big numbers home and away would be some statement.
