  1. I think the Phil Jones debut was superb management, just thrown in there, no time for nerves just go out and do your thing. Makes it more annoying when at times clubs mollycoddle players like they are little lambs, it’s football not neurosurgery. City must be keeping tabs on Tosin, he’d be their best defender at present, he’s a joy to watch, moves around effortlessly. Sadly he’ll be way out of our price range so I’m going to enjoy watching him whilst here
  2. I like the Tosin chant but feel we need something for Nyambe that isn’t casually racist I also enjoy the Burnley one, it’s catchy even if it’s not accurate
  3. Well I was an advocate of his removal recently as I thought it was difficult to see us going forward Since then he’s made big decisions and they’ve paid off in buckets, we look a real team again. Well done Mowbray, long may this resurgence continue Ps stick with Nyambe he is the one
  4. I would send Buckley on loan, can’t see any time I would bring him on ahead of Holtby, looked lost in his cameo
  5. What a great win Tosin absolutely Danny Shittu’d it, no way past him Nyambe immense Travis was awful, lost everything but Evans covered and no harm done
  6. Credit to the man, came in for a lot of stick last Saturday. Since then he had the balls to drop his captain and bring in a couple of others and we’ve got two huge wins. For now at least we are starting to look up the table again; long may it continue.
  7. What a cracking result! Last Saturday I walked back up Livesey Branch Road thinking there was no way back for Mowbray, which is bizarre as we won that game! Since then we’ve got 2 superb results with the performance midweek in particular being absolutely brilliant. Football eh
  8. I knew it was a generic name just couldn’t remember it ha The documentary showed how football can be a lonely place when out injured. I was lucky enough to attend a wellbeing talk this week hosted by Rio Ferdinand and Fearne Cotton, Rio shared some really personal anecdotes about how footballers can act and feel and it’s good to remember there is a human behind the shirt.
  9. The lad seems genuinely delighted to be back on the pitch, hope it works out for him. Remember watching the lad (was it Will Hughes?) on the Sunderland documentary that was injured a lot and how it took its toll mentally.
  10. Brereton playing for under 23s so Gallagher must be back tomorrow
  11. Safe to say Brereton didn’t impress Mowbray on Wednesday then Gallagher must be back tomorrow
  12. Well that’s a first, Raya made a great save tonight and drew chants from the Blackburn End!
  13. Whilst Brereton didn’t do anything of huge note when he came on the most telling sign we need a new main man up top came in the first half Rothwell set off at a swuillion miles an hour and took it past 3 players and then played it to Graham just outside the box and continued his run, Graham’s let’s couldn’t work fast enough and allowed them to get back and snuff it out
  14. Still some odd comments: TM on going with Nyambe (who came off with cramp): “We played him because I think Benrahma is one of the best players in the division, he’s a special talent. When you set Nyambe a challenge to stop someone he’s pretty good at it. I’m delighted for him and for the team.” #Rovers So Nyambe plays to stop one of the best players in the league, then why can’t he play every week?
  15. Echo the comments about Mowbray, pressure could have been on tonight and not many welcomed the inclusion of Evans but he was brilliant and allowed others to excel in their jobs I thought Mowbray was a little too slow to make changes but you can understand the apprehension there
  16. Bloody brilliant After Saturday it was said it’s all about the points, today I felt the level of performance was as important A totally different beast from Saturday like the shackles were off Evans; Tosin, Lenihan, Rothwell, Downing and Nyambe all superb Not to be negative but the striker issue is pressing, Graham is done
  17. Blackburn End chant Raya after a great save No idea which way this one is heading
  18. Tell you what they are a good team Brentford, we’ve been a bit more up for it but they play some cracking football
  19. Superb goal and well deserved, we had a couple of similar moves earlier Looks a different team totally to the one at weekend
  20. I forgot all about Johnson if I’m honest, he was brilliant first few games, think there was a fall out from the Derby night out
  21. Battling with the British railways to get back in time tonight, hope it’s worth my while Feels like a bigger game than the one at weekend even though we won the pressure seems increased
  22. Mowbray seems to say that because the keeper deals fell through it meant we couldn’t spend money on another position. I thought he previously said we used the Raya money on Gallagher?
