  1. My last minute decision to come down has been rewarded well so far Wharton couldn’t even foul his man successfully
  2. I wouldn’t worry about a hostile atmosphere it’s all pretty timid, if we are losing you may get an odd ‘Mowbray sort it out’ but you’ll get a ‘Mowbray give us a wave’ from the same section if we are winning
  3. Every now and then the mask slips, people do forget it pretty quickly next time we win and he’s dunking a biscuit on twitter mind
  4. Not even sure I can be bothered traipsing down for this one such is my disinterest…..and I only live 25 minutes walk away at Green Hills!
  5. I see Dack had blocked a few fans that questioned it as well
  6. There’s a good few holier than thou, enlightened types on twitter this morning. The annoying thing is the air of arrogance that comes with it. Its weird that on the back of a 7-0 loss I felt that Fulham actually eased off, at 4-0 they seemed content to see the game out till we proved that it would be easy for them to have a few more
  7. lol the ref took pity on us, played just 3 minutes stoppage then blew early even after a goal in that time
  8. Mowbray turning his back on the game now, may give us some hope
  9. He’s done exactly what he’s meant to do he can’t let the game go if it touches him
  10. When the opposition have shot from halfway twice in 50 minutes it could be a sign your positioning is a little suspect
  11. Yeah potentially a handball although they are often not given but the challenge is inexcusable
  12. Really really poor from Rothwell; if the pass wasn’t bad enough the attempted defending was even worse
  13. Buckley is by far a better crosser than Nyambe but to be fair that looked like it took a deflection to direct it perfectly
  14. The one I’m thinking is the tune of La Bamba (which is cool in itself) “Ryan Nyambe Ryan Nyambe He drinks the vodka He drinks the Jaeger His ***** ******* massive “ My issues being it’s not funny, lacks and wit and it’s needlessly crass (casual racism aside) Ivan Toney had similar sung about him and he asked fans to stop https://fanbanter.co.uk/ivan-toney-issues-statement-through-club-website-in-relation-to-a-song-sung-by-supporters-about-him/ Of course Ryan May be fine with it and Maybe it’s me but as a bit of a fan favourite it’s a bit shit that his chant is one the younger fans can’t join in with
  15. Ole has to be gone, utter humiliation with no discipline at all
  16. Dolan is an absolute menace and a delight to watch The bit of skill in the second half where from nothing he dropped a shoulder, nutmegged their lad and pulled back to Poveda was glorious. My lad comes to games with us, he’s never fully got into it, he’s 10 now but watching Dolan gets his attention. On that point I feel for the youngsters in the stands, I was spoiled as I started going in ‘91 but there was always a decent atmosphere, chants to go along with for most of the players. It seems these days the majority of chants that do occur are aimed at Burnley or the opposition (seriously “28 shags his mum” is about as witless as it comes) and don’t get me started on the Nyambe chant.
  17. That’s a great tackle by Van Hecke to be fair, great run as well just a bad miss
  18. Mowbray with a huge slice of luck, double sub for as about to be made probably Dolan off before Nyambe went down but two lovely goals Van Hecke is a shocker
  19. I don’t understand how they could have 0.38 xG in the second half yet missed an open net from 6 yards, fired another couple over, Kaminski saved one and they scored another
  20. Harsh on Buckley - he did a decent job of sitting on the bench
