Agents really aren’t helping their clients by asking for huge wages just because there is no transfer fee. It makes their future options very limited and gets them used to regular big money. Ask for a signing on fee but keep wages reasonable.

It’s all about making money out of players buy scouting the next Dack. If it were that easy everyone would be doing it.

This is why our situation can’t last forever. If they have been borrowing to fund us then, even if it is against Indian assets and Rovers are somehow insulated, then that could stop again at some point. It has too.

Surely some of these friendlies must be for the young and front players and we have a couple of first team fixtures in the pipeline. These opponents are not much of a test apart from match fitness. We need a spark of some sort.
