This guy wouldn't be coming just to coach kids or put bibs and cones out. It would be a foot in the door before long being fast tracked into some kind of first team role. Shebbys very own puppet

Utter rubbish.

A cheap stop gap until then ? Or perhaps when we've gone through admin and have no staff then Ali runs the team on the cheap and Balaji's son comes in to run the club on the cheap. Meanwhile we are in lge one with 4k fans and they can do what they want, they've pulled the club to bits and can rebuild it the way the want. They are that delusional and dodgy it wouldn't suprise me at all if that's the plan.

Browsing some of the Palace forums on friday night it did come across as Holloway is non to popular with a lot of their fans. No wonder with some of the crap he comes out with, some people find him entertaining ive always found his interveiws irritating but that's just me. I think he's a decent manager and i would have loved him to come here earlier this season. He was right though it was a push but we'd just been denied a blatant pen when Morris was felled which he no doubt chose to not see. -

Was a good crowd today but i was suprised it was 19k plus. Nice to see the ground more like it used to be. Decent atmo 2nd half and a well recieved lap considering all the crap, most saying thanks to Bowyer & Rhodes although most of the players seemed very sheepish. Probably a fair result but could have been better but for the countless times someone got in a good position but lack of 1st touch or woeful final pass cocked it up. Glad it's over ! (almost) -
Too right they won't. We were all saying this the same time last year i.e surely they'll bring in a new manager and someone to run the show. Infact how many times before has it been said since they pitched up. Nothing will change, i can see us in a similar position this time next year perhaps a few different characters, a few different players and definitley a few thousand fans lighter but still the same old charade.

Enjoyed it last night for first time in ages, actually felt like a proper football match with an all round battling performance giving us something to cheer for once. Pitiful home turnout again but atmosephere was good, 2nd half in particular. As has been said we are winning the midfield battles now and that's been missing and a major problem all season. The likes of Williamson know what it's all about in this division and Jones puts it about as well to be fair. If stay up i'd try and get Kane on a season loan if possible. I'd start with the same team at Watford, wouldn't change anything unless it's forced. The only thing i'd do is put Kaz on the bench if available and i'd bounce Pedersen out the door !

The question has to be asked why did Kean go to such lengths to sign him then never give him a decent run of games ? He may have been a bit out of his depth in the Prem but don't forget he was often played out of position when he got on the pitch. At this level i think if he gets chances he will score but sadly even if he plays we never create much with the system coco has adopted. All this considered it was another strange signing that benefited who exactly ?
-
Aye and his options were pretty decent ! Lets hope that's Dicksons mantra as well. At least he has the physique for the championship and will offer Murphy an the back line some protection. As u said though coco will find a way of faffing it up no doubt.

People never actually grasp the fact that certain players are often instructed to do that. Give simple short passes to try and retain a bit of possesion, it's bloody frustrating at times but if they tried to sidestep the player in front of them everytime and loose possesion we'd still moan i suppose lol

Tomphil here, Another staunch roverite from the footballing heartlands and rovers supporter breeding grounds of the out lying villages between Blackburn and Chorley, wheelton in my case First game v Notts Forest at home, midweek cup game, big crowd (to me) floodlights and atmosphere, hooked straight away. Think it was 1981 so that gives me 30 years time in even though im only (a young) 40ish lol Been to around 50 different grounds following rovers, mostly between 87/92 when i visited lots of grounds many times over before the prem days but quite a few since though not over the past few years, just not the same crack anymore. Still love the club dearly and always will though not the goings on at the moment. Had some great times an scrape's an adventure's following rovers down the years and wouldn't change it for the world, though i would change the manager/owners and a few others in a heartbeat !
