  1. I would be telling him you will only be back up next season used off the bench. Bye the way if you want to play for Scotland , go ahead. Personally I would not worry too much about his wages, as there is nothing to be done about that. But what can be altered is the amount of goals we shipped last season.
  2. I wish we would just go after the best available, affordable, center half.
  3. I am not saying he should be signed, but he should not be dismissed out of hand.
  4. OK he is a better defender than Mulgrew. Is he a better defender than Williams. If he is then he should be considered
  5. Villa to go up because you have to pay to get into the only pub near the ground
  6. It wasn’t confirmed till yesterday
  7. I have been told it may have been called off due to Rangers having Euro qualifiers.
  8. Any update on a Rangers fixture, I heard from a Rangers supporting colleague at work that it was looking unlikely ?
  9. No, the answer should have been, "An ancient language that hardly anybody uses".
  10. I thought the idea was to improve the team. You shouldn't sell a player till the improvement is in place!
  11. Rovers missed a trick by not putting on coaches when the trains were on strike each Saturday
  12. The way I see it is, that of course getting a better keeper would improve the team. But we have more pressing problems in getting a better center half and left back.
  13. You did notice in my original statement I said "At the moment". Just because a club wants to kick-on, it doesn't mean that it automatically will do. A good foundation for success is a close team that believes in itself, bringing in players who may or may not perform for the team will not instill that self belief.
