Seems like this is a half-baked product at the moment. I will hold back until I hear of happy customers.

I am going to wait until we start playing carribou or something before trying to subscribe. Thus far my attempts to subscribe have failed.
-
Never could get Rovers Player to run reliably so dropping subscription as a Venky's protest was no big deal. I see from the website link, there is no way of actually subscribing to this service.
-
Saw the Premier League fixtures were announced and instinctively looked to see who we are playing. Instead it seems we are up against a load of these: http://kids.nationalgeographic.com/animals/caribou/#caribou-standing-grass.jpg

I am not on the electoral roll in Blackburn but seeing as there is a Venky's Out candidate, believe me it is a matter of life and death for the club that he gets a very decent vote. By a decent vote, it must be quite a few thousand. We know from Nixon that there is a team of accountants in Ewood right now and can only mean one thing: Venky's want to start asset stripping. The local Council planning can make this VERY DIFFICULT and refuse all planning consents etc etc. If this guy gets only a few hundred votes, the Council will think the people of BLackburn don't care. But if there is a significant vote for him the Council can block things like housing built on car parks, demolishing the club shop etc, citing local concerns/residents' pressure and so on. I hate saying to people how they should vote but him having thrown his hat into the contest puts Rovers in a situation of having no options but backing him.

The accountants will have a specific brief which almost certainly: "how can Rovers be run with no cash injection?" Sure- it is possible. As would still being in League 1 in 2018/19. Likely on either count? NO Very unlikely they will go beyond their engagement remit especially as a casual glance at this MB if nothing else will tell them recommending a sale will be a slow route to never getting their final invoice paid.

We need two wins... and a prayer
-
At least with a noon kick-off, we are going to know our fate soon enough.
-
Great win but still 22nd and two points and a few goals from safety. Would happily swap our points record and remaining fixture list with any club above us- it's that late in the season.
-
Wigan have a nice run in in terms of playing teams which almost certainly don't absolutely have to beat them in the games they play against Wigan in the order in which they come. Whereas our next two opponents will be totally wound up in life or death struggles against us.
-
hmm we couldn't come back from 0-2 v Barnsley but the Wigan sub has just shown how it is done with a 10 minute hattrick sending us 2nd bottom. At least we are mathematically safe from not finishing bottom...
-
Give Mowbray the freedom of Blackburn if he keeps us up. In fact give him Blackburn.
-
Have to say it is a very pleasant change for your own manager not to be first name on the opposition team sheet every week.

Relegation is now Rotherham plus two from Rovers, Wigan, Burton, Forest and Bristol City. We have yet to play the return fixtures against all of them. Our results to date are: Rotherham H 4-2 Forest H 2-1 Burton H 2-2 Bristol City A 0-1 Wigan A 0-3 If we can get through the five reverse fixtures without losing or get a 3-1-1 WDL we give ourselves a chance. Anybody optimistic of doing that? I am not.

OK we have several message board members claiming they will make tidy sums of money off the bookies when Rovers go down. Put five or six noughts after the figures you have all mentioned, spread it around the illegal gambling dens of Asia, then make sure relegation happens with plenty of sides on unusual things happening during games on the way down. Are you still worried about VLL losing £20m this season? Anyone got a better legal explanation for what is happening? I happily say that I would far far rather believe that everything is legitimate and above board.

That is just the totally indisputable visible bit.

Kean's contract is in the public domain for all to see- he was on double Allardyce's pay when you add it all up. Only Ferguson and Mourinho were paid better at that time.

I think the Joyce story is a spoiler/cover. Warnock got tapped up at Rotherham by Rovers who were doing things on the cheap. He resigned there to avoid compensation to the Millers and took on trust he was going to Rovers after a decent interval. Cheston going on holiday when Warnock was due to sign was additional cover to it not being a tap up but it proved a very helpful window to pull off the coup by the tantric one. B seems to have been sold a repeat of the Kean relegation scam so Warnock was instantly history and Rovers with him. Same people behind the scenes, same sort of contract at half the price, same deal for lower division performance, same collusive team picking, same sorts of dodgy telephone numbers and reward structure apparently... Only Coye is much more successful at not being hated in the way Kean was so is proving more useful. Senior brought in to muddle the water when Coyle began to face supporter pressure. As is being rightly pointed out, my credibility is negligible and nobody should treat any of this rubbish I have shared here seriously.
-
Precisely- deliberate sabotage. Neil Warnock had been appointed all but sending him the contract and Cheston was over-ruled and the Agent's man turned up. Coyle's track record is abysmal yet he has not been sacked. This is deliberate sabotage. Just look at the most recent posts on the Brum game and the people saying "I don't understand why Coyle settled for a point against a beatable Birmingham and dropped us further into relegation trouble." Anyway no logical arguments yet that we are not being sabotaged.
-
This is nothing to do with finances. Tell me how and why what you have seen of this season so far is anything other than deliberate sabotage. Have a look at the recent posts on the Coyle Out thread and tell me a rational reason other than deliberate sabotage for what is happening at Ewood.
-
Let's flip this about. Convince me that this season isn't deliberate sabotage.
-
I am 99% certain that Rovers have to be relegated this season.

Looking at the table, we need to win all of: Wigan H Rotherham A Burton A and QPR H and then fluke another 15 points from somewhere. Basically we are as good as already down even though we are currently just 2 points from safety.
