1. Bugger, so exactly the same problem as the last site then. 323845 OK, after a little reading of their forum they only have TWO servers for play money, so you have a 50/50 chance of hitting the table your mates are on. If not, log out, log back in again and look again. It'll do for now I guess, but I want to find something much less faffy for thr future.
2. Bugger, so exactly the same problem as the last site then.
3. pokerroom.com as suggested by someone futher up. On this site (unlike holdempoker.com) there is no - in SlamTilt. What happens if you do Find Player on SlamTilt, does it find me ?
4. In an attempt to get everyone in the same game I've opened a table on POKERROOMS.COM instead. Whilst you'll need to register (it's free and easy and you don't need to give credit card details for play money) the software is more or less identical to holdempoker.com. Once nice additional touch is a FIND PLAYER button which should help find each other. So SlamTilts HE $5-$10 (Play Money) is now open. Same drill as normal, when prompted to send a message to the table owner to join, send your brfcs.com username (or else I'll probably assume your just a random player and deny you).
5. Several double deckers come down from Darwen, both picking up at all the Rovers pubs and a special service that just runs down the main road. This alleviates the need to park your car at Ewood and more importantly allows a few drinkie poos. Only £2 return. 323699 I didn't know about that. However I've often wondered about a park and ride scheme operating from the motorway junction (lets face it, all the problems seem to be the motorway to the ground).
6. It seems to use exactly the same software as holdempoker.com, so we may hit the same problems (or may not).
7. ... adn you've managed to play at our table before. OK, can anyone suggest another free (play money) poker site where we can set up private tables ?
8. No. Oddly I can't and no matter how many times I reconnect I get the same list of tables.
9. Well Ste & Percy are in at the moment. I wonder why only some folks can see it ? For all three of us "Slam-Tilt's HE" was very near the TOP of the list, in fact your had to scroll UP to find it.
10. OK. Recreated. Table is still Slam-Tilt (it always uses your player name) but the table is now $5/$10 instead. Ooooh, I've just noticed the list is sorted as I expected (I found three Texas Holdem sections).
11. Weird. Youre the second person that couldn't see it. I'll try and recreate it.
12. Trust me, it's there, firstlt check your looking at "Private Tables" under ring games. Then the list of games is in two half, play money and real money, make sure your looking at play. Finally the are ranked by stake. Slam-Tilt's HE should be near the top. 323431 I should add that if you've never played on this site then the tutorial is worth a look (and its only 5 mins long).

14. Slam-Tilt's HE (Texas Hold 'Em $10/$20 - PLAY MONEY) is now open and should be for the rest of the evening. Under PRIVATE TABLES not Texas Hold 'Em ! Send your board name when joining the room., otherwise I'll just think you are some random stranger trying to find an empty seat. All welcomed etc.
15. This is a serious question, which I hope people will reply to, it's not a sarcastic "troll" as it might sound. If we put STs on sale in (for example) March, if we went down, would you not object to the cost of the ST being the same if we'd have stayed up ? What about the the gate prices have to drop (or at least don't increase as expected ?) so the "value" of the ST was reduced ? Would you also not think it was just a "con" to get your money before we offload our "star players*" (* OK, Duff has gone, but you know what I mean). As I said, I'd be intrested to hear peoples views on this.
16. I think as you're a contributor to the site (by that I mean you are a Rovers fan that posts rather than just someone wanting to advertise thier business) and advertising something relevent to rovers fans (plus you asked rather than just posting it) then we can let you mention it in here. We're not against people advertising useful LEGIT (before people start advertising Rovers DVDs on stuff taped from TV) stuff, just people that are looking to make money without either provide our members a useful service and/or giving us some advertising revenue
17. By attract you mean pay ? After some of the pittyfull attendences for bigger sides over the last few preseasons, if the club has any sense it'll be Trelleborg. At least they'll be cheap and the away end will be full of Dingles.
18. Reasons to run firefox even if you don't like the "gimicks" (although to me calling tabbed browsing, shared favourites and developer tools a gimmick is like calling an inside loo a gimmick). It's much faster (even without turning pipelining on) It doesn't run as part of the operating system making it inherently more secure (yes, both browser have and indeed still have security concerns, but FF is a safer design as it runs with user privs not system privs). From a web developers point of view IE is dreadful, it's implementation of CSS (the mechanism for defining page layout) is dreadfull. What's more it sounds like they haven't fixed it in IE7 ! Microsofts non-standard brokeness is actually holding back web development (here we design things the "right" way and then fiddle with them until IE behaves !).
19. They've added it now. Shame it's in the BRISTOL ROVERS section !
20. This is where it gets complicated, but as you asked. It's because we didn't actually order it from Barmy Flags and if the other company hadn't have stuffed up the order BarmyFlags wouldn't have made it. When I rang up the other company to check where my flag was, this other company admitted they hadn't made it yet, despite me giving strict instructions that it needed to be ready for me flying to Turkey. This other company then called Barmy Flags are got them to manufacture it and deliver it on their behalf. I'd have probably been none the wiser and assumed it was the other company who had sorted it if the nice bloke who delevered it hadn't let it slip he was from Barmy Flags. So it never made it onto the Barmy Flags website becuase it wasn't ment to get out they the made it. This was a coule of years ago, I'm sure if I bothered emailing them now they'd probably add it.
21. ... so it's not surprising. I think it's only been to one home game and about 7 or 8 away (ones not pictured that spring to mind are Spurs 03/04, Cardiff (both games) this season, Dingledome (t'was behind the disable section), I'm sure there must be more, but I can't think where). So that would be a yes then (actually, technically we originally ordered it from somewhere else, but due to a manufacturing deadline cock-up the flag was actually manufactured by BarmyFlags, the guy who made it even drove from Oldham to Bradford with it the night before we flew to Turkey to ensure we got it on time). So, big thumbs up to barmy flags for going that extra mile.
22. It normally only gets taken to bigger away games (because hauling it around the pubs is faff), although Mushy did take it to the World Cup. However ..... Bray 2004 Turkey Fan's Friendly in Ankara and again I'm sure I've seen a pic of it at Cardiff but I can't find it and I've not uploaded my Cardiff and Dingledome pics yet.
