  1. Havin* worked there for 26 yrs I suggest parking near the town centre and walking, alternative is park and ride paying £2.50 is cheaper than a new window and loss of items from your car. At best the area around dump dale is chaotic gridlock and there are not a lot of options to get away easily.
  2. Ground safety rules nowt to do with pne police or the EFL
  3. Will be over in Yorkshire but will have a watching brief whilst her indoors does her Xmas shopping as our trip was booked long before the fixture list. Brfc be loud and proud and bring the points back to Ewood 1-0
  4. I am afraid around Preston’s ground is crime riddled both the damage and thievery if I was you I would park in Town and walk to the ground, alternatively park and ride options are better be it from the docks or the capital centre
  5. There is no power to hold you against your will or detain you without reason. You cannot be herded onto a bus because an officer demands it. You cannot be stopped without any reason same for being stopped and search there has to be a reason unless you are about to enter the ground. Clearly landlords can prevent entry into their pubs it’s their decision. I accept that if 500 fans tipped out at the railway station it is likely there would be an escort of some description that’s a common sense factor. The police can offer direction but if there is a public safety issue they will take the necessary steps and action. Let common sense prevail.
  6. It’s not happening train strike already in place that day anyhow with trains restricted. The cops haven’t the resources to do a Burnley! Believe me!
  7. I think you can be assured police won’t be bussing any rovers fans anywhere, I have no idea where you get this inane rumour from??
  8. Folks, my partner and I were successful in bidding for a signed Rovers ladies shirt, it is signed by the current first team squad with their numbers next to their signatures. It’s the red shirt and is immaculate in condition, the signatures are not smudged and it isn’t framed. We got the shirt raising money for several charities. I would now like to offer the shirt to anyone who is raising money for a charitable cause as a donation as I believe it’s the right thing to do. So if any fellow Rovers fans is wanting a gift to try and raise some extra donations for their charitable cause please contact me so that I can arrange for the shirt to be handed to them. The shirt is not a gift or a trophy, it is to raise money for a good cause. Thanks

  11. How in gods earth did we not win? Football didn’t really matter today, the immaculate minutes silence was simply heartwarming ??????
  12. 2-0 Rovers Danny G to make it a double after his glaring miss almost cost us v qpr
  13. The questions what does TM have to do to the squad to improve it in January to take us on to the next level, the level that puts us in the top 8? For me, we need another central defender and we definitely need a left sided midfielder whilst a Premier League lean forward wouldn’t go amiss! Rovers are up there on merit and if we can get another 10 points on the board pre Christmas it would make for happy reading, even more so if we can beat Rotherham, nobbers and pie eaters before the end of this month! not too much to ask I know?? It’s really up to the players to see just how far we can go, teamwork and the current work ethic has to get us through the winter months and then come spring they can take the final leap to the promised land [and then venkys intervened]??
  14. At the end of the day 3 points is all that mattered. yes Rovers were a bit huff and puff but if Graham had scored after 45 seconds it might have been so much different. The problem is as we have seen this season if you miss easy chances you sometimes get punished, case in point being Ipswich, reading, millwall, derby to some extent when Dack somehow missed a sitter! Also, you have to ride your luck, qpr were awfully poor, time wasters and not a real threat as they had settled for a point to take back down south in the most shocking of away kit colours I have seen since the Coventry brown Kean stained shirt! I was hoping Rovers could get to 25 points before the end of December, they have smashed that hopeful target and must now seek to beat Rotherham to make it a good start to this month. Rovers have very little to be worried about, it’s about just how far we can go this season?
  15. Heroic performance I was in London keeping tabs. Seems a Rovers 10 with utter 100% backbone on the pitch, heroes to a man. On my way home i had the pleasure of 6 drunk wiggon fans on their long way back from Sheffield, somehow they had ended up a Warrington and got on our train. Their comments about Rovers were comical so having let them have it verbal wise their naught 40 plus sixsome headed off home ! Would have taken a point all day long.
  16. Rovers simply opened up through the middle as they allowed Swansea to overrun the midfield. My view is that TM should have reverted to a 3 man defence to counter the extra man in midfield. As a side issue a worldly save stopped us from drawing level then 20 seconds later we concede the 3rd and it was game over. huge credit to the fans who made the horrendous midweek trek to South Wales ???
  17. Would take a point from this game. Tough choice drive to Swansea or go to Wembley in 3 weeks to the England game ?
  18. This is the kind of result that emphasises just how much BRFC has been turned around by TM and his staff and one which our stay away supporters should take note of. If anything it serves as a positive advert for a reason for them to come back and support the team in the flesh. todays effort was a great team effort, from front to back they all played their part, for the shirt, the club, the fans and themselves. The team spirit shines through like a beacon of light and cannot be underestimated. This team can take us further and I believe the spirit within the team is what will drive them and us up the league. Dare to Dream? Under Mowbray we might just complete the complete resurrection back to the promised land.
  19. Repetitive ain’t it? 7k Yorkshire folk kicked out of the red rose county pointless and with their tails up their backsides??????
  20. Leeds showed they can a dodgy team with the recent games esp v brum. If Rovers sit back and invite Leeds on the front foot they will crucify us on the other hand brum showed if you go at the they are vulnerable Brentford should have put them well away and laid the price for missing so many chances, Rovers have to take them when and if they come along.
  21. Like it or not this is the world BRFC is operating, find a gem, develop and sell for huge profit. We as fans have to accept that. I think he will go in January especially if he continues the fine form he is in. Brereton is not the player to replace him in this position and I think TM will have his eyes on another gem as a replacement.
  22. It seems that Rovers don’t need to bother to turn up as Leeds fans are thinking it’s a straightforward 3 points and a hammering score line
  23. It seems to be all about Leeds, let’s keep it that way and spank them sending them crying back over Burnley way 1-0
  24. I tried to add a response at Naples airport however the WiFi is typically crud! there is no pleasing some Rovers fans and some talk an absolute load of tripe! Over the past 12 months we have seen a solid rebuild, promotion and the squad being assembled that should bear fruit in the future and the club is on a sound footing YET some on here are unhappy. We are just 8 or 9 weeks into a new season, we have a 24 match unbeaten home record and we have just drawn against a big spending massive club in Aston Villa. We didn’t lose we got a point ffs! Yes we are a little miffed at conceding a 94th minute equaliser BUT get on with it, we move on to Derby. The whiners on here are the reason why many members don’t bother commenting or even coming on here at all. This is Brfc 2018!
