You'd think a peppercorn rent would be appropriate.

Do we still charge our own Community Trust to use the Darwen End? That's low.

And yet the club pays £400,000…

Re your question , for their financial year ending 31/12/23, the Community Trust were charged by the club for ‘goods and services’ a total of £426,977.

Be deferred until after the transfer window has closed.

After the last date was deferred I'm sure I saw in the LT a line saying the club don't expect a resolution any time soon. It was mixed in with the usual, has no effect on the running of the club, but it's the first time I've seen any sort of admittance that this is going to keep on rolling for some time.

I think we'll all be utterly shocked if this just goes away. We've somehow stumbled on whilst being successful on the pitch, but come the end of the season the chickens are really going to come home to roost. We simply can't continue to exist in our current form with zero funding.

I don't think these court hearings have much relevance now. The outcome of the ED investigation is what is important and that could roll on for ever and is not affected by the court hearing requested by Venky's.

My belief is that there is still no official permission ( No Objection Certificate ) to send money out of India.  However some 'agreement' has been reached which means they can send money - as confirmed by the recent cash injection to Venkateshawa London to pay off the training ground loan to Crossbaron. They didn't have to wait for the court approval for that.

I suspect that when they sold the Neville house they probably paid off the tax they should have paid when they bought it in the first place. This may have earned them enough brownie points.

So, in theory, they can send money to VLL for Rovers to use in January and there will be no FFP restrictions either. It just depends if they can be bothered or not.

The narrative has changed again from Waggots BS about it just being a crossing the t's and dotting the i's formality.

Now it's it will probably go on and on for a while yet.

The guy is unreal with his spin he hasn't got the first clue what's going on and do we REALLY think hes requested funds for a Jan window or is he just pacifying everyone before the usual let down.
